About VIGHNANZ the band

Vighnanz, one of the famous bands of India, (according to the survey done by Iloveindia.com) hails from silver city, Cuttack, Orissa. Vighnanz is a genre of Indi Rock Music, One that combines basic Indian rythms and classical folk structures with rock. The formation of this band was indeed a difficult task as all the band members were from different fields of occupation, But somehow, the fire within them surfaced and VIGHNANZ was born. Earlier this band was called by the name RAAGAZ, but due to some astrological reasons, the band members changed the name into VIGHNANZ. What do you get when you put a drummer with heavy metal roots, a lead guitarist with classic rock roots, a bassist crazy about jazz and a very volatile vocalist in one band? Yes, you will find every above mentioned in Vighnanz.

This band has carved its own unique niche in the Indian Rock scene, fusing rock with funk to give an uplifting style that raches out to all ages, wowing the audience with a tight, high energy, flawless, musical stage performance. This band has performed in different places of INDIA, such as GWalior, Kolkata, Kharagpur, Indore, Vishakapatanam, Bhubanes war, Berhampur, Cuttack, Bhadrak and etc.

Its first album “ TU HI TU” in Oriya was released by one of the leading music company, T-Series and was a huge hit, especially with youth. The advantage of the band is that they can perform in four different languages Hindi, English, Telugu and Oriya. With an inspirational composers and equally brilliant musicians in VIGHNANZ is all set to rock Hyderabad with their forth coming first Telugu rock band album “HYDRABADI ROCKS” by T-Series. With wicked compositions and breath taking music in this album, This band assures that they are outrageous and one of the best bands.
